At Casa Querencia Animal Health Center, LLC, we offer three types of cremation
services:
1. Communal Cremation - This is a group cremation where multiple pets are
cremated together. This option is a cost-effective solution for those who do not
wish to keep their pet's ashes. After the cremation, the ashes are respectfully
scattered in the forest near Ruidoso. Please note that due to the nature of
communal cremation, individual ashes cannot be returned to the owner.
2. Separate Cremation - Your pet is separated from other pets in the crematory and
they are cremated simultaneously. You can receive the ashes in a tin urn made
specifically for pets or in a velvet bag if you wish to spread your pet's ashes in
that special place.
3. Individual Cremation - This is a more personalized option where your pet is
cremated individually. With this option, you have the opportunity to keep your
pet's ashes in a special urn or scatter them in a location that holds meaning for
you. We offer a pet urn of tin for you to celebrate the continued memory of your
pet.
At our clinic, we take great care to ensure that the cremation process is handled with the
utmost respect and professionalism. Our trained staff follow strict guidelines to ensure
that your pet is treated with the dignity and care they deserve.
We understand that pets are family members and we want to help you commemorate
their life. Therefore, we have many more options for urns available. You are welcome to
order the urn yourself or we can order it for you. They are available online and we
recommend using www.mainelyurns.com due to reliability and promptness. Please
note that the cost of these urns is not included in the price of cremation and would be
charged in addition to the original cremation price.
Cremation typically requires 2-3 weeks to process depending on the options chosen.
However, we also offer a "Same Day Service" for those who would like their pet's ashes
returned more quickly. This service puts your pet ahead of all others and they will be
cremated on the same day. The ashes will be returned the next day, including weekends
in most cases. Please note that there is an additional fee for this service.
